From the red roof inn to the George, we’ve stayed in all the hotels and air ba and b’s in college station with two Aggies. I’ve not ever written to say it was a wonderful stay until The Hotel MCCOY. It was perfect and from what I saw, in large part to Chase. We saw that young man doing everything. Literally, he was chef, laundress, desk clerk, delivery, maintenance, guest services, stocker, reception … with a professional attitude and positive demeanor. In addition, the price was right and amenities on point. I left thinking we will always stay here. There were also great little smiles and touches like the sign under the bed, bar, drinking water, huge TV in the room, and towels at the pool. Thanks for a great stay!
Enjoyed our stay! The hotel is funky and full of cool art, lively pool, friendly staff, lots of activities like live music and arcade games — all at a really reasonable price. A perfect base for exploring Tucson and the surrounding nature.
We loved our stay for our daughter’s graduation from WSU. The hotel was funky & artsy, there are cafes & restaurants right nearby, and the outdoor patios were wonderful! We enjoyed sunny cocktail hours every evening. The staff were so kind & helpful. We will definitely stay at the McCoy again!
Absolutely blown away by this place, great staff, amenities and location. Can't say enough about the unique touches they put on the place, with a small arcade / pinball area, each room it looks like has different artists that did murals and even a small sitting area outside of each room. Has an on site bar / breakfast area as well. 10/10 would recommend staying here if you are in town.
10 out of 10. My girlfriends and I came to College Station to celebrate some graduates and needed a last-minute place to stay. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The environment was so cute, the staff was incredibly kind, and Joanna and Grace made the experience even better. We truly couldn’t have had more fun. They make their drinks in-house and they were absolutely to die for. The oatmeal bar honestly saved my life the next morning (shout out chase), and the location was perfect for getting around town easily. Would absolutely stay here again!
Mid century vibe, when motels lined strips in cities across the US. It is so cute, comfortable, safe, & just lovely. Loved the moon deck where you can rest in front of a fire pit & use the telescope to gaze at the stars. Oatmeal bar for breakfast was pretty neat & different breakfast option. Great stay & will be my go to when visiting my family in Pullman.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this motel. I'd passed it many times without giving it a second thought. I enjoyed the colorful murals and decor inside and out, the unique decor in the lobby and rooms, the very comfortable 'tempurpedic' style beds, and the solid surface floors in the motel rooms. The games in the lobby and throughout the grounds makes this hotel unique and such a great place to hang out, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the oatmeal bar for breakfast with lots of unusual toppings (freeze fruits, chia seeds, marshmallow bits,...). They also had bagels/bread, pop tarts, cereal, almond and peanut butter and other toppings, coffee, and a nice tea selection (Harney & Sons) with oat/almond milks and half and half. These touches in decor, play areas, and in the quality of the breakfast are not cheap and I've not seen this in such a reasonably priced hotel. From now on, when we have family or friends visiting town, I will book them rooms here.
Wanted to share our great experience at your hotel this week. We were moving our son out of his apartment before heading home to Texas and needed a place to stay in Tucson. Came across your site on Expedia and thought it might be a fun place to stay. All the ratings were amazing and we concur. From the fun atmosphere, the amazing cleanliness of the rooms, the fun murals, and the pool area. We loved the arcade and the yummy oatmeal bar in the morning. The thought behind the “little things” like colorful planters with cactus, the poker chips for a free drinks, and hiring kind people were noticed and appreciated. Thank you for helping us create some positive memories of our last night in Tucson. We wish you all the best with your hotel. Keep making people smile and doing out of the box things. You’re amazing.
We spent two nights last week at the Hotel McCoy Pullman. They did a terrific job renovating this retro motel. Our room was clean and whimsically decorated. The oatmeal breakfast bar offered great options including PopTarts! The shared deck was terrific for coffee in the morning. They had a wine and sip evening during our stay which was great fun. The outdoor ping pong and foosball, a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful. You are walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. Would stay here again in a hearbeat.
